We are looking for an actress for the main role in our short fiction film Table for Two, a student film produced as part of our Television & Video course at CEU San Pablo.
THE WOMAN
Female actor | 30+
The character is a woman who lives alone and follows the same routine every evening: she sets the table for two, prepares dinner and eats alone.
The film has no dialogue, so the story is told entirely through her actions, expressions and body language.
We are looking for an actress who can naturally communicate:

loneliness and sadness without speaking

subtle emotions rather than exaggerated acting

a sense of routine and repetition
-
a quiet emotional change towards the end of the film
The role involves simple everyday actions such as setting a table, preparing food, eating and looking at an empty chair.
